CARE PACKAGES TO UC ACTIVE DUTY

Dear Friends;

It’s care package time again!! The “Committee to Support Uinta County Servicemen” needs your help!  Our committee established this program after the terrorist attacks in 2001 to enable our community to support the men and women who are serving our Country in the various branches of active duty service.

I’m so excited with all the things we have to pack up and send out to our servicemen and women.

We have Christmas stockings, candy canes galore, Christmas music boxes, and DVDs. VFW Post 4280 donated blankets with the Wyoming bucking horse for those serving overseas. Right now we are working to secure funds so we can send gift cards to everyone serving!! We want to let them know how much we appreciate what they are doing, and hopefully make their holidays a little brighter by making sure they know we appreciate what they are doing.

We’ve found that the Uinta County care package program is very unique! Our Servicemen and women tell us that  no other community sends packages to their military members.  We have more than 90 men and women from Uinta County serving in active duty right now!

As the holidays approach please remember those who are  sacrificing time away from their families to preserve the freedoms and liberties of this great Country and throughout the World.  We would ask that you be generous with any contribution you or your business can provide.

“Please remember our Uinta County service men and women”

If you or your business is able to make a donation of any size make it payable to:

Uinta County Servicemen Committee,

225 9th Street, Evanston WY 82930
