MS Society Walk

A letter from Will Davis:
As most of you know, it was just over one year ago that my son Jared was diagnosed with MS. In an effort to help raise funds to find a cure and to help those that have this disease, I have formed a team to walk in Evanston on April 26th. The team is called The Woodshoppers. You can make a pledge to help the National MS Society by following the prompts on the following website. From the home page, select Donate on the right. Search for The Woodshoppers team.  Just be sure to search for the team by name so your pledge/donation is credited to the right team. If you would prefer, you can make send a check to me which I will then turn in the day of the event. Time is short for this event so I hope you will respond quickly and that you will forward this information on to as many of your friends and family members as you feel appropriate. My family knows the devastation of getting this diagnosis. In this small way I hope to be able to help so other families will not have to hear this news. Perhaps my efforts along with so many others will keep someone in your family from hearing the words “you have MS”. I sincerely hope that you will help me in my efforts with a donation, a pledge or a check. I thank you in advance for your consideration of my request.

I forgot to mention that if any of you would like to join the team and participate in the walk on the 26th you can do that from the same web site. I would welcome you. If you sign up early enough, I think you can get a T-shirt the day of the event. Those under 18 need a parent or guardian’s signature. Thanks again.
