21st annual Bear River Mountain Man Rendezvous
August 22nd - 24th @ the Bear River State Park. Events include paper shoot, primitive shoot, mountain man walk, kids shoot, hawk and knife throw, fry pan toss, primitive demonstrations, magician show, kids games candy cannon and a raffle. Camp fees are $30 per space at the gate, if camping, or just come and step back to a time before 1840 and check out the reenactments. Movie On The Wall Series
Have you ever been to a drive-in movie theater? If so how long has it been? Well the Evanston Downtown Merchants Association (EDMA) has a deal for you. They are hosting their 1st Annual Movie on the Wall series in the 1st Bank parking lot on the corner of 10th and Main Street. The public is invited to bring the family, lawn chairs and snacks for an entertaining evening. Best of all the movie is free! "The EDMA is looking for ways to give back to the Evanston community for their continued support of the local merchants located in downtown Evanston", state Dawn Darby, Chairperson. "What better way to bring the community to our historic downtown for an evening of family fun." The series will conclude on Friday, August 22nd showing "Ratatouille".
